Greetings, Free Skoolers!
Just wanted to let all of our faithful followers know that we are still alive, doin' fine, and imbued with new energy to coordinate events to help bring our community together in the spirit of shared learning!
If you, or anyone you know, is interested in getting involved as a teacher, host, coordinator, or facilitator, stop by Cafe Ambrosia (326 Maynard St
Ann Arbor, MI 48104) Wednesday nights at 6PM and join the discussion!
We can also be reached at a2freeskool@gmail.com
Keep your eyes peeled for upcoming events in the near future!
Peace-
a2freeskool

Though the calendar is looking a little sparse, fear not! We have plenty of upcoming events, but we're still trying to figure out the best time to hold some of them. If you're interested in any of the following, please follow the link below it to specify the best time(s) and date(s) for you.
ReplyDeleteIndian cooking class (one day):

Math class (weekly - please state in the comments section through this link roughly what level of math you're familiar with):

Discussion groups like scientific discussion, Finding Your Own Religion, and possibly things like Radical Queer History Group and White Privilege/Racism Reading/Discussion Group (each once monthly, but all at the same time & date):

So here I am... in the Michigan Union basement... waiting to do math... and nobody else is here. It is currently 5:15.
ReplyDeleteMaybe this was too short of notice? The Art Fair preparations going on may have messed people up as well.
Oddly, the blog seems to be set to Pacific Time, as it claims I posted at 2:14 PM when I'm quite sure it was actually 5:14. Why is the blog on Pacific Time?
